Lisa Shaw, a native of Dallas, Texas LOVES people and rarely meets a stranger.  Her magnetic personality is contagious.  She loves the Lord and serves in ministry at the Strong Arms Church of God in Christ in the areas of Business Administration, Music Department as the Choir President and Praise & Worship Team.  She also serves with the Southeast Fellowship as Fellowship Choir President.

She serves the community through helping meet housing needs of low income families in the metroplex.  She can be found at various Health and Career Fairs and enjoys doing volunteer work.

Heaven 97 is the beginning of her broadcasting career.  The first time on the microphone just literally felt right! She connected immediately and has loved it every since.  She truly enjoys what she does here at KHVN and is grateful for the opportunity.

When she is not working on the radio or with her local ministry, she enjoys reading and Desktop Publishing.  It would be remiss to say she doesn’t enjoy singing and listening to music.

“What being a radio personality means to me”:

This provides me the opportunity to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ as stated in 2 Corinthians 5:20 ESV “Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.” It is a vehicle to provide encouragement to the depressed, lonely, less-fortunate, bereaved and others in different areas of their lives and to encourage those who are strong to bear the infirmities of the weak. Finally to share the Hope of Christ!
