Lador Frank

Lador Frank

Producer of the Yolanda Adams Morning Show
Monday through Friday 5am – 9am

LaDor Frank’s radio career that spans more than twenty years started in Las Vegas, took her to New Orleans, and finally landed her in Dallas/Ft. Worth where she decided to put down roots.

Looking back she maintains that her life has been blessed. Better than blessed. Her story to some reads like a fairy tale.

At a crossroads in her life she decided it was the perfect time to also look at some serious career changes. She walked into a radio station one day in Las Vegas and told the station manager, who happened to be sitting in for another Jock that day (just her luck?), that she wanted to be a DJ. After about an hour of serious convincing, he told her to come back the next day for training.

It was some years later that she landed a job with the Fly Jock, Tom Joyner, first as a producer, then less than a year later joined his staff as his Personal Assistant. She decided to try her luck in moving back to Las Vegas without a job, and finally got a call one day from comedian, George Wallace who was looking for a Personal Assistant.

Does she brag? Yes! She claims ‘Favor!’ Among her many talents she writes a great commercial. But ONLY GOD can write a script like this. She gives Him all the honor, all the glory and all the praise for everything great that’s happened in her imperfect life.

In sharing her story with her young protégées, she issues these requisites: find favor with God, get an education, and if you’re good and persistent you’ll do well.

“What being a radio personality means to me”:

God wired me this way. And in His generosity in handing out gifts and talents, He gave me a microphone, and a voice. He said, “Turn up the volume and tell the world about me, Jesus!” He also created me to like what He’s assigned me to do; love, serve, and please Him.
